When a small pebble isn't good enoughAug 27, 2010

If you want to be really accurate with a slingshot, you need quality ammunition.
These are slightly small for my purposes...gives great range, but can be a little difficult to hold, depending on the size of your hands. They're also a bit pricey, at about six cents per shot. Still, I found them to fly straight and true, and to be much, much more accurate than the sort of small pebbles and other things I might normally use in a slingshot.
If you're looking to hit a 1" target at 30 yards, this is what you're going to need.

A better substituteDec 15, 2009

All 3/8 shot is essentially the same. The gator in my pond hates them. In this order, the vendor substituted Daisy brand shot which comes in a plastic snap-top box. This packaging is far easier and faster to use - it makes a difference when you need to get off that fast shot.

Marksman 3/8 Steel Shot -- 75 CountFeb 21, 2012

Purchased for a sling shot. Good quality shot. Price may be competitive, but seems a bit high for a bit of round steel. Good shipping from Amazon vendor. This product is recommended for its intended use.
Good Slingshot AmmunitionMay 31, 2013

The ammunition is well made. It comes in a very good package. Carry this and you will not have to look for stones.
Trumark vs Marksman Steel ShotApr 27, 2013
By The Worker Bee
I purchased both the Trumark (5/16) and Marksman (3/8) Steel Shot.
The Trumark is a much higher quality, perfectly round with a polished finish.
The Marksman shot had two flat spots on opposite side and had
a oily residue, probably to inhibit rust.
