By Brian Mick Product does not contain multicolored thread as shown in the image, only army green (4 spools) and black (2 spools). Also, it only came with one needle and few other sewing accessories. I wouldn't recommend it to others.

G.I. style sewing kitJul 05, 2011
By Zayne I recommend the product, but not at this price. Its about a $3.00 value IMO, NOT $6.25. As another reviewer stated, this kit does not come with multi-colored thread as pictured. This doesn't bother me, as black and green are primarily what I will need but the picture should be product-correct. My biggest complaints are that the sewing supplies come in a flimsy plastic bag inside the pouch and it only comes with one needle. I suppose that would be fine for some people, but I used an empty Altoids mint can to store the items in, added 5 more needles that varied in size and a few larger spare buttons. The can fits in the pouch pefectly. I give it 3 stars because of the price and the thin plastic bag.

Pretty cheap.Apr 11, 2013
By Trailblazerb Not crap, but not exactly a high quality kit either. I cannot really recommend this. You would be better off going to JoAnne Fabrics with your wife next time she wants you to drive her there, and then picking out a few spools of thread and some sturdy needles to put into a zip lock baggie. Better yet - just raid her sewing kit and stay home and drink beer on the couch and deny any accusations of rummaging through her stuff for your own benefit.

It's worth it as a quick back up...Feb 18, 2012
By TDAWG Ok this may not be the ideal sewing kit for many, but if you want a quick and easy kit you can build from then this is the kit to have. I am glad it doesn't come with the yellow and red threads like the picture has since this kit is for my get home bag. The scissors are way to small but you can get better miniture scissors to replace them. The bag it comes in is resealable which is great for keeping everything together. My kit came with the following: 2 Needles, 2 Large OD Green Buttons, 2 Pearl White Buttons, 2 Light Blue Buttons, 2 Small Safety Pins, 2 White Threads, 2 OD Green Threads, 2 Dark Gray Threads, 1 White Thread, 1 Light Blue Thread, 1 Black Thread, 1 Small Scissors, 1 Timble, 1 Threader, 1 Measuring Tape & 1 claps which looks like one of those found on a woman's skirt.

not badAug 23, 2011
By survivaltest88 I needed a Sewing Kit bad and i happen to come across this one on Amazon.. the price was real cheap and so were the products, but dont get me wrong they did there job and its small enough to fit in your pocket. I recommend this if you dont feel like spending a lot of money on a kit but just need a needle&thread and a place to keep it in.
