Gets the Job DoneFeb 11, 2010
By C. T. Peavey After graduating from Advanced Wilderness First Aid, I realized it was as important to help people in the city as well as in the Wilderness. I bought this bag to keep in my car with supplies I might need if I come across a car accident. It's really good for that and has a lot of pockets and dividers. My only complaint is with the Tool Loops; They don't actually hold my scissors or any other tools that tightly and the tools keep falling out into the bag.

Just in Case - Medical CaseJul 08, 2010

"The Boss and Mrs. B."
The Rothco Orange EMT Response Bag is a fine carryall that holds a good deal of our emergency medical supplies. No more searching in various cabinets, drawers and cupboards for medical items. This brightly colored bag allows us to easily find all products on hand in one clearly recognizable bag. In any emergency time is of the essence and this bag, with its divided and padded sections, allows us to find what is needed with just a quick glance.
Since we live by a ball field/play ground/school these items, whether for ourselves, our grandchildren or sports players, will undoubtedly come in handy. There have been bee stings, falls from bikes, injuries from practicing golfers hitting someone else picking up stray golf balls, broken fingers simply from casually playing catch as well as falls from swings and slides. Keeping in mind the fact that these occurrences happened on weekends and summer vacation and not during school time, we wanted to include as many items as space would allow for a "Grab and Go Comfort Kit". Thankfully a fire station is located a few blocks away and we could run for help with the more serious injuries.
Our bag easily holds the following items:
1 - AMA First Aid Guide 2 - Adsafe CPR Pocket Resuscitators with Cases

We do plan on ordering another bag in the blue. We will separate bandages, tapes, splints while adding a few more instant cold packs, antiseptic hand soap, a cervical collar and a folding cane to our orange bag along with even a few suckers for the young ones crying for the injured. We would utilize the blue bag for everything else.
Keep in mind that if you have it and don't need it you are fortunate indeed. However, if you need it and don't have it your life could be in jeopardy. While this may well seem excessive, the life you save might just be your own! ~ The Boss and Mrs. B.

Great bag for the moneyOct 21, 2009
By Frequent Amazon'er As the other reviewer posted, don't be fooled by the loo-a-like bags. Rothco makes some gear that looks kind of dodgy ( the antique should bags ), but this is not a toy bag that will fall apart in 2 weeks.
Lots of storage room, I am upgrading from the tri-fold should type bag to this one. I had the other bag packed quite full, and this bag has room to spare.
The market place vendor I got it from had it out the door quick ( unlike the poor guy who purchased the blue version from the devil vendor, read the reviews it is true with them ).
This bag would be the size down from the PARAMEDIC EMERGENCY LARGE TRAUMA BAG version ( that one seems to be able to hold an entire ER prep room in it )

Very please with my orange Rothco Medical Bag!Oct 14, 2010
By B. Carmichael I just received my bag today in the mail and it's MUCH larger than I had anticipated!! The construction is VERY good... though like another reviewer, I do wish it had velcro on the sides to make it fully enclosed. I will likely sew my own onto the inside flaps and the underside of the top cover that goes over the whole bag and clips down. That's really the only improvement I could make to this thing! Apparently the whole divider compartment just slides down inside of the bag. It's not just normal dividers that can be pulled out. All the dividers are made into one slide in compartment that can be removed by pulling it from the velcro on bottom inside of this divider. I'll likely leave mine because it will keep things upright. I even noticed that there's a zipper on the inside of the main top flap that you can store items. I would only suggest charts or other flat items in there though, or it will make the lid pretty bulky. The star on the front is a reflective material, like they use on running shoes or on stop signs. I can't wait to start building my medical kit from the ground up... and this bag is going to be the perfect foundation for my kit!

Good bag.Jun 11, 2009

Great, durable bag. Only thing I would like to see changed is it being able to close on both ends, other than that it has held up and does what I need it to do. Thank you!
